TSS Photo of the Day & Viewing Report of the Day.↳ Remote Imaging - Images and Discussions.I just want to make sure that I am not missing a good opportunity to use this software. I can use my current collection of work arounds. I just have to guess when it has settled sufficiently and set a delay time in DigicamControl. I have tried PHD Dither (works, but I have to set a timer to stimulate a dither, and DitherMaster (works off a file save, but has no dither settling parameters. Apparently, DigicamControl isn’t updated to dither well with PHD2. Digicamcontrol works for dithering, but I get multiple dithers (sometimes up to four) then the last one finally settles. As I stated DigiCamControl, does everything I want and more. I never tried tethering that camera so I dont know if it is capable of doing that. The camera store where I bought my camera helped me get it set up. Recently, while playing with SharpCap inside the house, I saw that is a quite interesting and powerful piece of software. I use DigicamControl for imaging because it’s the only imaging app that I have found that will work with my model Nikon. It is a Nikon D3300 and is not supported by Backyard Nikon or APT. Does a dslr have to be connected through another imaging app to work with NINA? I have read here on the forum, that some NINA users do use a dslr. Edited by CP Kuiper, 06 October 2015 - 11:48 AM. Higher tier Nikon DSLRs have a built in Intervalometer. Application settings Camera control screen. The basic entry-level DSLR Nikons have a shutter release timer delay so vibrations from actuating the shutter and reflex mirror slap can settle down before the shutter opens. I have had no success throwing to use the open source ascom for dslr with my camera. Nikon DSLRs use a electronic, wired or remote, shutter release. I read in the documentation that the camera needs to be ascom. A whitish pulverulent mineral is also present and seems to be an Fe-sulfate. I know that the D3300 does not play well with imaging apps, but it is my camera and a new one is not in the budget any time soon.īefore I give up because of lack of knowing what I am doing, I thought that I would ring it by my friends here for their comments. The aragonite has a brown colour due to organic inclusions.

I see quite a bit about the new NINA software and have tried it, but I can’t connect to my Nikon dslr (D3300).
